Born in Braintree, Massachusetts, John Adams played a huge role in helping found our great nation. The United States of America. His father John Adams Senior, and mother, Susanna Adams, supported their stubborn oldest child while he was growing up. After graduating from Harvard at the age of 20, John Adams began to study law. Soon he became the Vice President of the United States, and shortly after his term as Vice President ended, he became the second President of the United States. His First Lady was Abigail Adams, and they had four children. Soon after Adams term as President ended, he died at the age of 61.
